Is Technician Respirator Training needed?
Yes! The majority of collision repair tasks require you to wear a tight fitting respirator for personal safety. To meet the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirement for respirator use, you must be trained, medically cleared for respirator use, and pass a fit test for each respirator you use; OSHA requires your employer to provide each of these to you, yearly. This Collision Hub program is designed to support your employer’s requirement that you be properly trained for respirator use. This course covers:
- An Introduction to the OSHA Requirements
- Respirator Types, Uses, and Care
- Safety Data Sheets
- Medical Evaluation
The course concludes with a test, measuring your knowledge of the topics.
The training will be available to you for 30 days from the time of purchase. After checkout, you will receive an email from invitation from our Learning Management System.
